People are people.....

Following on the heels of yesterday's thought, here goes...

Life just keeps getting crazier and crazier, as I was sitting in the pedicure chair yesterday having a conversation with my sister, I realized and said those words posted yesterday.  I also said "Now if I could only take my own advice".  True right?  How many times have you said something or given advice and then thought "man that was pretty good, I should do that"?  As we go through life and meet new people or even get to know the ones we already know (yes that does make sense, I think) I've wondered how well do we really know the ones we're with?  My downfall sometimes is that I ALWAYS try to see the good qualities in even the worst of peeps.  I say I'm not going to invest only to later get sucked in and spit out.  Its getting exhausting.  I just need to keep reminding myself that there is a reason for everyone that walks into your life, figure it out and LEARN from it.

I don't regret anyone that I have met (ok well most everyone) there was a reason for all of them.

Some great words from one of those wonderful people I met on a trip to NYC many years ago,
"I don't love you, I just love that I met you..."
I learned alot from that person in the short time we spent getting to know each other and learning from each other.  Those words meant alot!  That is a reminder to me that I need to keep spirits high, move onward and upward right?  RIGHT??

My husband is my ROCK, I can count on him and say anything to him at all times.....  Man am I GLAD to have him in my life!!

Thanks for lettin me get that all out....  I feel better now, I think....  =)

Great post girl! I completely agree! We may not like the people that wander into our lives but they are there for a reason and eventually we learn from them. :)

Not sure if this completely applies to you... but often the way people treat you has nothing to do with you. It's how THEY are. (I'm a BIG fan of Celebrity Rehab on VH1... and some people have been through some pretty rough times that they keep to themselves, yet it affects every single aspect of their lives & how they treat others). All you can do is continue to be the strong individual that you are! Be happy with the person YOU are, and nothing else matters.

I love your positive attitude Ember! It's so true that everyone comes into our lives for a reason.

p.s. Now I have Depeche Mode stuck in my head!
