WOW what a crazy first 2 days of school!! You see its not only the kids that started school it was me too! Being the PTA president this year is gonna be time consuming! We are a small one of 4 people so you see why I get sucked in to the school vortex! I mean even coming in to say hello in the morning I find myself not leaving for 3 hours! Doesn't help that I have control issues because I want it all done right! Kinda like when you sit down at the computer and say "oh I'm just gonna check my email" and end up 3 hours later pulling yourself away...
The kids enjoy their teachers so far, my oldest said "I like 5th grade homework because its a reading log!" I just about
fainted, this coming from a kid who's practically allergic to homework! I hope it lasts!
I hope I can control my maniac tendencies and check myself out of the school more often to clean and get done allllllllll those things I said I was gonna do this summer. Like paint my bathroom and maybe the monstrosity of a closet in the hall!! I hope you are all having a great Tuesday! I have some good recipes to post later this week too.

PTA President?! You are a brave soul! I have control issues too :-) I like to think of it as a sign that I'm a good mom.

Good for you to join the PTA. You never know what doors will open because of your involvement in this committee. I did the same thing when my kids were young and I'm still best friends with the women I met at that time.
